Description:

We are seeking a Director of Editorial for Data & Reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Define student learning pathways including content sequencing, assessment strategies, and student feedback systems
  • Collaborate on the construction and implementation of algorithms that group students, identify instructional priorities, and adjust content difficulty for students
  • Construct reporting requirements and behind the scenes systems that make data on student literacy performance and development clear to teachers and administrators
  • Design and oversee content development and administration systems for student surveys and program implementation assessment including reporting needs
  • Oversee the development of technical and reporting assessment guides for teachers and administrators
  • Advise PD, marketing, and other teams on the data story for Benchmark Education programs


Job Requirements/Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in learning analytics, instructional design, and technology-based learning environments
  • Experience using qualitative and qualitative methods
  • Knowledge of literacy assessment data and reporting used in K-12 education
  • Familiarity with literacy and learning science research
  • Passion for K-6 literacy education and helping students learn to read
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Elementary teaching experience preferred
