Giant Cement Holding Inc are looking for aReliability Engineerto join their team in Harleysville, South Carolina.

About the Job:
Collect vibration data, analyze data, recommend corrective actions, report findings to mill management, and advocate for completion. Ensure that the plant equipment is maintained in good operating condition at an optimal cost and high reliability, through the constant execution and implementation of PM's, efficient inspection and monitoring procedures, identifying needs for maintenance and corresponding feedback within the methodology of the Department, ensuring the safety and integrity of his own person and the people working around him. The machinery Reliability Technician inspects, services, and repairs plant equipment and machinery as directed by Management.

Job Duties:
Perform Infrared technology.
Perform Ultrasonic technology
Aid in applying best lubrication practices
Collect oil samples, send off for analysis, and advocate completion of any non-conformances
Identify ISO cleanliness of hydraulic and other process oil systems
Schedule, participate, led RCFAs and track action item completion status weekly
Track and report UPEs to mill management
Drive a culture of ownership and discipline of precision maintenance
Perform Precision Maintenance (laser alignment, belt tensioning, field balancing, etc.)
Navigate and use CMMS system (SAP) to Write Requisitions, Work Request, PMs, and identify spare parts
Regularly review all equipment failures and current inspection methods to determine the PM actions that may have prevented failure and reducing the likelihood of reoccurrence
Participate in the maintenance optimization process that determines PM frequency, indicators, and inspection methods
Assist in applying value analysis to make maintenance decisions, i.e., repair/replace and repair/redesign
Work closely with Maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment as needed and identify improvements that can be made to assets or components to improve overall asset availability
Use of all types of hand tool and power tools, including but not limited to oxy/acetylene torch & welding/cutting equipment as required, use of measuring tools such as Tape Measure, Dial Indicator etc...
Report in writing any discrepancies or condition that requires corrective, predictive, or planned maintenance for production systems each ASAP to supervisor
Performs other duties as assigned. Job duties are subject to change as directed by Management

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • 4-5 years of experience.
  • Experience in problem solving rotating equipment issues.
  • Proficient computer skills, including by not limited to Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to work within a team or independently as required.
  • CAT 1 Vibration Analyst.
  • Level 1 Thermographer.
  • Become MLT 1 Certified within a year.
  • Great communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to work well independently.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Very strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling and grammar.
  • Field Balancing and Laser Alignment experience.
