Position Purpose:
The Director of Business Development will be part of the leadership team to create, develop, and build our presence in the professional services market including aviation services, commercial cleaning and facility services
Responsibilities:
- Develops a growth strategy focused both on revenue, key accounts and geographies
- Actively pursues opportunities and markets a full range of services to prospective clients, and creates referral strategies to maximize current relationships
- Accountable Executive that creates delivers, and presents proposals, including details of terms
- Conducts market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, using insights to inform strategic decisions and innovation in service offerings.
- Develops and maintains excellent relationships with existing clients.
Other Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to set marketing and business development priorities, allocate resources efficiently, and measure the impact of strategies on market penetration and revenue growth.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that service offerings are effectively marketed and align with customer expectations and company capabilities.
- Report regularly to the Chief Executive Officer on progress toward business development, including key performance metrics and strategic insights.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience with Business Development
- Ability to build relationships with key customers.
- Experience with negotiation and knowledge of key contractual language
- Quick turn around on tight deadlines
- Business acumen to develop complex financial models, including pricing and profitability.
- Proficiency with Sales CRM systems and ability to manage pipeline and use scorecards to measure performance
