Description:
As a Selux Application Specialist, you will have a unique opportunity to use your diagnostic laboratory experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading integration initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for providing consultancy and implementation support for Selux's current product, which is an innovative and fully automated Antimicrobial Sensitivity Testing system. This role is remote; however, the preferred area would be the western US. The ideal candidate must have open availability Monday through Friday, with on-call hours possibly needed. 80% or greater travel to customer sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a specific resource and expert in the functional theory of the Selux system
- Ability to partner with laboratory personnel and collaborate in order to offer them the best possible experience
- Serve as customer contact for the integration of the Selux system in areas related to user interface, consumables, and software
- Expert in using remote and on-site support channels such as web-based chat, e-mail, and video calls
- Ensure that customer concerns are escalated in a timely and precise manner
- Document calls upon completion, or elevate the issue to the next tier of support
- Effectively collaborate with the Field Service, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Provide reports for customer issues and document all activity in a manner compliant with company's quality procedures
- cGMP adherence and QMS compliance
- Achievement of objectives through daily actions to support sales growth and customer satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in Biology, Lab sciences, or other related disciplines
- Laboratory background, specifically in the area of Clinical Microbiology
- Medical Technologist Certification
- Must be comfortable with basic software programs, Microsoft OS, and Salesforce
- Demonstrated proficiency working on diagnostic instrumentation
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time and lift a weight up to 50 pounds
- Previous FDA Complaint handling or documentation
- Computer networking and ability to troubleshoot LIS (Laboratory Information System) software
- Exceptional written/verbal communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Outcome based customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility and adaptability to change as Selux continues to actively grow
- Customer experience in a commercial organization
- Self-motivation and ability to be a team-player in a highly dynamic start-up environment
