Harris County Hospital District DBA Harris Health System seeks Epic Clinical System Analyst III to work in Bellaire, Texas to p articipate in requirements analysis sessions and develop design specifications for reports and application configuration (may be called on to facilitate analysis sessions). Participates in process workflow sessions and develop workflow maps (may be called on to facilitate analysis sessions). Provides day to day application support. Configures applications with input from more experienced analysts. Performs application troubleshooting and problem solving. Develops clear and concise documentation that facilitates repeatable configuration and migration of the applications. Identifies tasks and levels of effort for the implementation of solutions. Observes change control procedures, ensuring accurate and complete user and system documentation of modifications. Works with Manager/Director to identify and estimate work effort for the implementation of solutions. Identifies, resolves and escalates issues (when necessary) in a reasonable period of time. Reports project activity and status in writing according to prescribed format. Ensures the quality of the deliverables produced within the employee's responsibility area. Coordinates with Vendors on the implementation of their products and integration with Epic. Assists I.T. Education staff and super users in developing end user training materials and assist where needed in the training process. Develops complicated integration test scripts that are used for integration and regression testing. Works collaboratively with colleagues to deliver patient/customer services that meet or exceed patient expectations as evidenced by patient satisfaction scores. Delivers exceptional customer service by embracing ServiceFIRST standards of behavior during all patient, visitor, and staff encounters. Available to work after hours on site as scheduled. Telecommuting permitted.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Clinical Informatics, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Three (3) years of software analyst experience.
- Epic Clinical Application Certificate/License.
