Duties and Responsibilities:
- In your role as a senior medical administrator, you will assume a leadership position, providing guidance and direction to the clinical team.
- Your responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery of medical care and clinical services, with a focus on cost management, quality assurance, and the development of protocols.
- Managing the clinical staff will also be part of your role, encompassing tasks such as recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide regular updates and collaborate on strategic initiatives to drive organizational success.
- Ensuring the quality of medical care will be a priority, involving the development of guidelines and the management of strategic development initiatives.
- You will also be responsible for handling provider relations, addressing complaints, supporting education initiatives, and managing community relations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Medical degree (M.D./D.O.) from accredited school, board-certified in relevant specialty
- Current, unrestricted medical license in New York
- Proven leadership experience in healthcare, preferably as Medical Director or in similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of healthcare trends, regulations, and best practices
