Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and innovative UI/UX Designer to collaborate with our current designer, with a strong focus on designing customer-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong portfolio that showcases experience in trading platforms and portfolio management. Experience in carbon credit markets is a significant plus.
This is a temporary contract position, with the opportunity to convert to full time employment.
This is a hybrid/remote position but candidates must be based within one hour of New York City, Los Angeles, or San Francisco

Compensation
The approximate compensation range for this position is $50-80/hour. The actual offer will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team, among other factors.

Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and user-centric interfaces tailored for carbon market trading platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for users across various roles and touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the product team, engineers, portfolio managers, sales, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for creating impactful user experiences
- Leverage your understanding of the trading and carbon credit ecosystem to inform design decisions, ensuring that interfaces meet the demands of the trading and carbon credit markets.
- Conduct user research and usability studies, applying insights to refine and iterate on design solutions, with a focus on catering to the needs of the internal team and customers.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends and technologies in UI/UX design, finance, trading, and carbon credit markets to drive continuous innovation in our product offerings.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio that highlights projects in trading platforms and customer portals/account. Experience in the carbon credit market is a big plus.
- Understanding of the trading world/apps, including familiarity with trading software and charting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work with complex data and translate it into user-friendly design concepts that cater to the demanding needs of traders and financial professionals.
- Team player, effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members to align on design vision and user experience strategies.
- A passion for financial innovation and sustainability, with a keen interest in the carbon credit market to effect positive environmental change.
- Website design experience is a big plus.At least X years of experience in X
