Job Summary
Provide specialized instruction, curriculum development, and/or evaluation & student assessment as part of the CI MED
medical education curriculum.
Provide specialized expertise in the areas of teaching, research, service, mentoring, advisory, curriculum development, leadership and/or oversight for medical students within the CI MED curriculum (Phase 1-3). Defined roles may be assigned as outlined within the Carle Illinois curriculum. Provide assessment and evaluation of the students and/or curriculum. Attend meetings and regularly communicate with students, faculty, staff, and affiliates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in medical education, health care, basic sciences, or related field in area of specialization. For Appointments at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor an M.D.; D.O.; or equivalent degree/credentials in an area relevant to medicaleducation as outlined under the CI MED Clinical Faculty Guidelines. Currently appointed or eligible to hold a faculty appointment in the college. Record of highly ethical conduct, respect for confidentiality, high level ofprofessionalism, collegiality and attention to detail.
Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Academic position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 2/8/2023. Salary is commensurate with experience.
