The Project Manager (PM) will be a part of the product team and support timeline development, project management, compliance requirements and creative decision making to our Lab921 team.
This role will require you to be excited about the product development cycle, prioritize your workload and have a proven track record of on-time delivery with projects. In addition, we are looking for you to document, expand and become a subject matter expert in compliance and customer requirements. This position reports into the VP of the LAB921 division.
Key Responsibilities
While various departments carry the responsibility of different scopes of work, it is the responsibility of the PM to ensure that all departments work cohesively and in a timely manner to complete the overall goal of delivering product on-time to our retail partners. The PM will manage the operational execution of the Lab921 business, coordinating internal resources, lead cross-functional teams and ensure stakeholders are fulfilling their responsibilities by meeting program requirements and deadlines.

New Product Development Project Management
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Master Timeline for each new product launch.
- Partner closely with Category Manager, CMF, Engineering and ID to identify and factor in project requirements prior to timeline development.
- Create tasks and be responsible for the management of products and project launches through digital tracking software (Asana).
- Proactively provide solutions to hit deadlines. Includes weekly verbal check-ins on project status with stakeholders; Be able to identify and problem solve roadblocks as well as set expectations between touch bases. Ensure deliverables are communicated and being met.
- Analyze project risks and recommend risk mitigation options.
- Delegate responsibilities and coordinate resource allocation.
- Must consistently report on and communicate timeline changes across all departments.
- Actively engage with Lifetime stakeholders and vendors in China to ensure deliverables are communicated and being met.
- Technical quoting management and assistance with creating customer product packages.
- Customer compliance requirements management. Includes compliance documents filing.
- Oversee New Product Development from concept to off-tool samples. Ensure new products are properly approved and finalized. Ensure that approved new product is documented in the engineering system and inform all parties once a new product project is closed. Proactively follow up on the new product item status to ensure the new product is approved within the set due date.
Customer Driven Project Project Management
- Responsible for timeline creation for customer driven projects and check-in set ups.
- Partners closely with Category Manager, CMF, Engineering, and ID to identify and factor in project requirements prior to timeline development.
- Work with internal and external teams to seek out opportunity and align the team and timeline to deliver.

Skills
- Proven ability to problem solve and find resolutions quickly and efficiently.
- Proven ability to organize large sets of data and build out processes and databases.
- Experience in Hardline and Softline goods including: development cycle, design engineering, quoting/costing, material choices, and industrial design.
- Able to be comfortable with communicating the project's requirements and expectations with project owners and to move the project forward within the required timeline.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships to ensure greater success with accountability towards project deliverables.
- Comfortable speaking in-front of a large audience of key stakeholders.
- Clear and concise communicator.
Qualifications
- College education required (BA/BS preferred)
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- 3-5 years of Consumer Product development experience
- Highly organized and resourceful
- Self-starting team player
- Passion for housewares innovation
