The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for representing and selling designated building construction products including GPS infrastructure, software, and services to new and existing customers West of the Mississippi. The successful candidate will need to have an active and collaborative approach to our Go-To-Market Strategy. S/he is expected to come up with creative ways to exceed sales targets and maximizing sales in the assigned territory.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
- Sales calls and closing sales orders by assessment of customer needs and matching identified needs with Leica products and services.
- Advising new & existing clients on new solutions to their infrastructure & engineering challenges with a view to becoming more efficient & cost effective.
- Visit construction project sites to demonstrate Leica products to all trades and potential customers
- Conduct presentations and demos with engineering and design teams and consult on industry best practices, project workflows and solutions to construction industry project challenges.
- Train dealers and customers where appropriate.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to organize account information, improve internal communication, and elevate the customer experience
- Partner with Sales Application Engineer in the pre and post-sales process to help demonstrate how the features of our products can help solve a business need for them.
- Proposes/assist in trade shows, conferences and exhibitions.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor's Degree with technical or engineering emphasis preferred
- 5 Years of construction industry sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Leica High-End hardware and software would be a distinct advantage.
- A strong aptitude for sales along with excellent technical, communications and presentation skills required. Must be proficient in the working of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and E-mail.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Likes to learn and is open to continuous feedback.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred.
