The Production Manager will lead production teams in the manufacturing of high-quality digital photo media products. The Production Manager will be accountable for achieving performance objectives and targets in safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-speed thin film or paper coating and/or converting operations in a multi shift operation.

Safety Requirements
The hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The Production Manager will lead production teams in the manufacturing of high-quality digital photo media products. The Production Manager will be accountable for achieving performance objectives and targets in safety, quality, and productivity. Duties and responsibilities
- Ensures equipment is operated and maintained to safety and productivity standards.
- Ensures quality standards are achieved, maintained, monitored, and documented.
- Coordinates, directs, and evaluates the activities of production supervision and staff.
- Develop KPIs in support of company/department goals and objectives.
- Monitor performance to KPIs and take action to correct/address off-target results.
- Develop and implement robust training for quality and safety throughout the production area.
- Track, report, and analyze safety, quality, and productivity performance.
- Develop and implement improvement plans for efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
- Ensure that production demand and customer orders are filled.
- Ensures accurate process, production, and inventory data are captured, monitored, and maintained.
- Provide insight and information to management on the progress of production activities, including follow-up from complaints/corrective actions.
- Responsible for managing, training, motivating, evaluating, and developing associates.
- Communicate and work with other departments throughout the facility.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, (Science, Technology, Engineering preferred)
- 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing management.
- Must have experience using an ERP system for tracking production.
- Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and motivate people.
- Management experience must be from a manufacturing environment.
- Microsoft Office skills and experience required.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures in an ISO9001/14001 Quality/Environmental Management System preferred.
- Experience in a robotic/automated manufacturing equipment environment preferred.
- Experience with IIoT connected/monitored production equipment preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position oversees the Converting and Packaging Departments.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours
- Must be able to push/pull/ lift at least 45 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with the help of a team member
- Must be able to use, handle, and manipulate items and materials, including hazardous materials, with proper material handling equipment/tools.

- Ability to wear required PPE (including safety glasses, gloves (nitrile, canvas, etc.), hearing protection, ANSI-approved footwear, and others as required.) in any manufacturing area.
