Process Control Automation Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Monitoring the processing facilities and making sure they are functioning smoothly. Developing new ways to improve the efficiency of each processing facility and plan out improvement projects per site.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

• Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems.
• Designing and testing automation equipment and processes.
• Programming new automated components
• Identifying quality issues and writing reports.
• Eliminating defects and errors with product and software development.
• Collaborating with other business units.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment.
• Experience with robotics and machine learning.
• Experience with project management.
• Solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar field.
• 3+ years experience in engineering role.
• Previous experience working with CAD and AutoCAD.
• Previous experience working with RSLogix or similar programming environment.
• Previous experience working with SCADA software.

Work Location: Corcoran, CA

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000
