INTRODUCTION
Reporting to the Unity Chief Information Officer this role is the primary project manager for the implementation of the Epic Electronic Health Record System. This role provides project management expertise for entire project life cycle. This includes, but is not limited to, facilitating the following functions: system requirements definition, process and/or workflow redesign, business case development. Ensures contract compliance, risk analysis, project scope, implementation management, and support transition.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
RISKS
The position's work involves everyday risk and discomforts, which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meetings, training rooms, and other UHC sites. The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated. The employee shall provide evidence of a recent (within the past twelve (12) months) health assessment that includes a PPD and/or chest x-ray results.

MAJOR DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Project Management
- Maintaining the scope, schedule, and quality of the project
- Setting clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do at each phase of the project
- Working closely with Unity leadership and other stakeholders to advance the project coordinate activities
- Sharing with team members the positive effects of innovation and system capabilities
- Providing consistent communication to the project team
- Maintaining the project timeline and associated action items for each group
- Organizing resources within the organization
- Motivating and showing appreciation for the team Appropriately matching team member skills to team responsibilities Managing the project from an organizational perspective while attending to detailed tasks
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with specialization in computer science OR an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities deemed sufficient to prepare the incumbent to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- One (1) year of relevant work experience.
- EPIC Certifications preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Experience in project management
- Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers
- Experience working in a community clinic or healthcare setting
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment..
- Familiarity with EMRs or directly in the EPIC system
