The Director of College and Career Readiness leads initiatives aimed at preparing students for their educational and professional graduation pathways. This includes the creation of innovative programs and pathways, oversight of Early College/Early Career Partnerships, evaluating PK-12 school counselors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring excellence in student guidance. The implementation of the school counseling curriculum and programs and providing essential support to students at various academic levels, including College Now, Trio, Thrive Students, Xello, Pathful, and Ohio Means Jobs. The Director of College and Career Readiness is pivotal in fostering an innovative and student-focused environment, empowering every student for success in their future academic and professional pursuits.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted by the hiring manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS include:
* Master's Degree in School Counseling, or School Administration, with at least five (5) years
experience in a college/career readiness leadership role; Criteria set by State Certification
Authorities.
* Preferred three (3) years of experience as school or district administrator, or equivalent leadership
experience.
* Holds a state Department of Education license/certificate; Criteria as set by State Certification
Authorities.
