Senior Network Engineer

Major Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the organization's computer networks, collaborating with Global IT organization to design and implement company networks, managing the network infrastructure, including installing and configuring hardware, and ensuring the network is secure.

Specific Duties:

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
• Maintain overall network and system security
• Configure and install software, servers, switches, routers and other network devices.
• Knowledge of FatPipe MPVPN, Extreme/Ruckus/Cisco switches, HP servers, VMware, Fortinet firewalls and WAP's, Pure Storage.
• Knowledge of performance and management tools including Fortinet FortiAnalyzer/FortiAuthenticator, Solarwinds NPM, Manage Engine Endpoint Central, MDM, AD Manager, AD Audit.
• Knowledge of security tools including Tenable vulnerability management, Palo Alto Cortex MDR, Illumio segmentation, Delinea Secret Server.
• Manage and maintain external Microsoft 365 environment - email, Office applications, Sharepoint.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred. Certifications CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, MCSE are a plus.

Experience: 7+ years of technical and network experience required.

Skills: Possess strong business orientation. Demonstrate ability to bring the benefits of IT to solve business issues while also managing costs and risks. Possess the ability to conceptualize and translate into system design and develop appropriate business case and with corresponding ROI. Be skilled at identifying and evaluating new technological developments and gauging their appropriateness for the business

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $110,000-$125,000.
