The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering national account customer projects within the established timeline and budgets. This role involves coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and ensuring that project objectives are met while adhering to quality standards and operating to our mission - everyday. The Project Manager must possess strong leadership, communication, accountability, and problem-solving skills to effectively navigate project complexities and drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Program Manager and National Account Sales to develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project resources, including team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Proactively communicates project status updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Generates weekly (or as required) report outs to aligned objectives.
  • Manage project scope, timeline, and budget, adjusting as needed to accommodate changes.
  • Facilitate effective team collaboration and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and post-project evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages comradery, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with internal functional groups to align on timing, inventory, and storage needs to meet customer's needs.
  • Collaborates with external stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met based on demand of project deliverables.
  • Utilizes internal and external technologies to capture project data points.
  • Regularly support project resources development to increase efficiency and best practice utilization.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating program job aids, standard operating procedures, and reference documents as needed.
  • Ensure that data used in project planning, execution, and reporting is accurate, reliable, and up to date.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding financial related goals, including, established margin goals, RMA returns within 21 days of completed project, final cost reconciliation within 14 days of project completion, and final customer invoicing within 21 days of project completion.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of trade / industry specific experience. Project Management Certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience, with experience working in a team environment on multi-faceted projects.
  • Lighting and electrical experience, with proficiency in completing a construction takeoff preferred.
  • Experience working in distribution, large retail, service organization or manufacturing, and experience working with Fortune 100 companies preferred.
