Director - JCP Radiology

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for the management of all administrative functions within the Department, including satellite outpatient centers. Serves as dyad partner for the Department Chairman in administrative matters.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Responsible and accountable for operational and financial leadership and to direct the day to day activities of the Radiology Practice.
• The position is responsible for the development, implementation of operating and capital budgets
• Ensure the delivery of high quality care at every level of the organization. Be part of the development of long-range projections and financial plans.
• Works directly with the Department Chair to efficiently and productively accomplish new and established goals and objectives.
• Ongoing collaboration with Finance, Coding and Central Billing occurs to oversee revenue cycle management. Have a working knowledge of policies and procedures of third-party payers and federal agencies as well as responsible for compliance oversight
• Serves as a liaison between customers, stakeholders and other support departments and between the Practice and Jefferson North Leadership.
• Work with Administrator and Sr. Business Manager to monitor income and expenses to insure compliance with agreed-upon budgets.
• Manage and coordinate departmental coding and billing of hospital and professional services.
• Have a working knowledge of policies and procedures of third-party payers and federal agencies as well as responsible for compliance oversight.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Qualifications

• EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor or Associates Degree preferred
• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION: N/A
• EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum ten (10) years supervisory experience

Conditions of Employment
