Remote: This role will be offered as full remote. While there will be options to meet with internal teammates and customers in person should you be local, all collaboration will also be supported via online meetings, calls, etc.
BAE Systems FAST Labs innovates science, technology, and engineering breakthroughs for some of the toughest technology challenges in the defense, aerospace, power and propulsion, and security industries. FAST Labs is the technology scouting and development authority for the BAE Systems Electronic Systems sector.
This position will directly support the newly launched Microelectronics product line as we move technologies through development and transition them into production. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing subcontracts with a diverse portfolio of technology partners and academic institutions. Working alongside the Subcontract Manager efforts will be in support of both new business capture and program execution requirements, supporting intellectual property licensing, royalty, and proprietary information agreements. This role will also act as the point person for the subcontracts and supplier relationships resulting from these agreements.

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of related subcontracts experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) policies and procedures
- ITAR and International Procurement Experience
- Terms & Conditions analysis and negotiation experience.
- Candidate must be willing to travel 10% of the time or less.
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Skills and Education
- Legal degree or background (Jurus Doctorate).
- PMP certification will be viewed favorably.
- Prior experience with Oracle.
- Master's degree in supply chain or business-related discipline.
- Previous procurement experience.
