The BHMA Program Manager shall manage projects related to BHMA operations, with specific attention to all clinic Move/Add/Change projects. The BHMA Program Manager is in overall, end-to-end charge of the program, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery. The Program Manager will work closely with key BHMA leadership and department team members to bridge the vision of the program to implementation at the operational level.

Job Description
SCOPE OF POSITION
The BHMA Program Manager shall manage projects related to BHMA operations, with specific attention to all clinic Move/Add/Change projects. The BHMA Program Manager is in overall, end-to-end charge of the program, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery. The Program Manager will work closely with key BHMA leadership and department team members to bridge the vision of the program to implementation at the operational level.
The job responsibilities of the Program Manager include but are not limited to:
- Collaborates with IT PMO, EPMO, facilities/construction management, operational excellence, and/or vendor project managers to ensure the project/program stays within timeline, scope, and budget.
- Identifies project requirements by interviewing patients and team members, analyzing operations, determining project scope, and documenting results.
- Identifies any barriers and resolves conflicts within the project by problem solving and analyzing alternative solutions.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Ensures Standard Work is available where appropriate.
- Identifies workflow/ process improvements.
- Establishes personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Evaluates customer service initiatives within the clinics.
- Maintains current knowledge of, complies with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Supports facility and Ballad Health goals, mission, vision, values, expectations, financial plans, and policies and procedures.
- Provides support for departmental/ clinic plans and objectives.
- Facilitates projects for Ballad Health Medical Associates/Facility requests.
- Leads and manages multiple high priority projects and requests concurrently.
- Makes verbal and written reports for leadership.
- May manage and review the work of and designate work to operations analysts.
- Assists in the onboarding, training, and development of other program managers or operations analysts.
- Performs duties for extended periods of time with limited or no direct supervision.
Demonstrates a commitment to continuing education and professional development through the pursuit of a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare Project Management and operational practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree required. Master's Degree (MBA, MPH, or equivalent) is preferred. 5 years of relevant healthcare or similar field experience is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred. Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills are essential to the position. Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude, a high degree of accuracy, and ability to manage time and change is required. The incumbent must possess the ability to relate to individuals and groups at all socioeconomic and education levels. The incumbent will be required to update technical, managerial and leadership skills through continuing education and active membership in appropriate professional organizations throughout tenure in this position.
