The Senior Application Development Manager (B2C) position leads, mentors and provides hands-on senior level support for the company's software product offerings. This role ensures the Development teams have the information and tools needed to complete deliverables. This position is a vital source of online application development domain knowledge, front-end and backend functionality knowledge along with communication and support among all B2C product lines. This position acts as a bridge among Development, Quality Assurance and Product Management teams to foster a team-based approach that delivers high quality software. The Senor Application Development Manager demonstrates leadership, coaching and mentoring skills combined with the flexibility of working in a dynamic, fast-moving and fast-growing product development environment.

- Manages Development teams across multiple product lines.
- Implements policies and procedures for quality and personal standards.
- Monitors and audits processes and performance.
- Works with the teams to enhance and refine feature requests.
- Collaborates with multiple teams to ensure that feature enhancements are well defined and cross-team dependencies are addressed.
- Provides hands-on coaching, support and training to all staff.
- Advises on Development workforce planning needs.
- Advises and manages external outsourcing for workforce planning on an as needed basis.
- Partners with Recruitment for workforce planning and active recruitment efforts, including but not limited to: position descriptions, postings, calibration with external sourcing avenues and recruitment firms, interviewing and employment offer process steps leading to Onboarding activities.
- Provides day-to-day production support for back-end systems, as needed.
- Works with third-party vendors to implement functionality and maintain relationships.
- Communicates plans and prepares leaders to communicate within department structures
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 10+ years of experience in Software Development with a high percentage focus on web application development
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Lead or Manager with preference given to candidates that have focused on e-commerce, online gaming/trading with mobile application development
- Ability to multitask between several projects.
- Experience working on all aspects of Software Development, including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, UAT, Deployment, and End User Support.
- Excellent skills in collaboration, communication and working well with teams across the organization
- Proficient with cross-functional collaboration - strong in forging relationships across groups and driving buy-in and commitment towards solutions that may be challenging or new.
- Experience building teams from the ground up
- Ability to mentor, coach, lead and develop talent in a dynamic environment in order to build the required capabilities and to attract and retain the best talent.
- Experience in and working with Quality Assurance teams.
- Self-starter, self-motivator, detail-oriented, highly organized. Motivated to excel, competitive in nature and does not confuse "efforts" with "results". Strong change leader and relationship builder.

- Preferred Experience and/or Education: Knowledgeable in technology, horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, gaming, sports wagering and/or experience in a start-up environment
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- This position does have supervisory/managerial responsibilities for Development teams and Contractors within and outside of the United States along with enhancing workforce planning for projects on an as-needed basis. This position is empowered to take initiative with applicable duties/projects
- Requires travel up to 15% including travel outside of local area and can include overnight stay. International travel possible.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive base salary, bonus opportunity and benefits
- Base Work Location - Position can be based in the Hunt Valley, MD or Washington, PA office locations. Position classification is Remote Work.
