- Southern Maine Health Care, a member of the MaineHealth system, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a team of 5 gastroenterologists and 3 advanced care providers in Biddeford, Maine.
In addition to providing outpatient and inpatient consultation in general gastroenterology and hepatology at Southern Maine Health Care, a non-profit, full-service community hospital with 125 acute care beds, there are opportunities to provide clinical instruction to students from the University of New England and Tufts University medical schools, internal medicine residents from Maine Medical Center and advanced practice providers. Additional opportunities could include providing clinical instruction for a GI fellowship under development and participating in clinical research activities through the Maine Institute for Research.
