Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000. Placement in the range is commensurate with experience.

We are seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer & Fitness Center Managerbeginning August 2024. This is a full-time, ten-month position and reports to the Director of Athletics. As an active member of the Athletic Department, the Athletic Trainer & Fitness Center Manager must adhere to the values and ethics of the Dalton School. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and abide by NATA standards.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as an on-site athletic trainer for athletic contests and practices at all locations.
- Administer prevention and care to all Dalton athletes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and accident reports.
- Communicate daily with other athletic trainers, coaches, and athletic administration.
- Review medical and sports participation forms.
- Design, implement and monitor strength and conditioning programs.
- Supervise weight room and all fitness spaces.
- Demonstrate and teach proper lifting and training techniques.
- Educate and enforce weight room rules.
- Assist in the general maintenance and cleaning of the facility and its equipment.
- Teach high school and middle school physical education classes as needed.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Athletic Director and Administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training preferred
- BOC Certification
- Must be available from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM approximately with the possibility of weekend games and later evenings as needed
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and a flexible schedule.
