Duties and Responsibilities

The LTV Systems Engineer is responsible for:

o Supporting Interface definition and development activities.

o Providing Avionics, Command and Data Handling (C&DH) support.

o Providing Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and development support for major Project

milestones to include, but not limited to, (Pre-PDR, PDR, and CDR).

o Support the development of V&V strategies and processes required to support Vendor provided results as well as the tools and processes needed by the NASA team to collect, review, and accept V&V data to support Certification.

o Other SE functions as needed.

o Travel: Some travel to Johnson Space Center (JSC) may be required.

Minimum Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline.
8+ years of Space Vehicle Systems Engineering and/or related experience.
Experience performing Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and/or execution for Launch Vehicle, Space Craft, or Space System.

Required Skills
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
Excellent collaboration and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills
Experience with Space Vehicle Avionic System Command and Data Handling preferred.
