Summary:
This Automation Business Process Analyst will work with stakeholders and developers on process automation opportunities. They will provide process analysis and create documents, such as process definition documents (PDDs) and aide in creating the solution design documents (SDDs). They will define business requirements and test case scenarios of the future state of automated business processes. They will capture and understand the current business process and provide documentation to assist in moving to an automation solution. Coaches Junior Analyst and Developers and acts as backup to the solutions architect(s).

Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or 7+ years related IT work experience
5+ years' experience with BPA, UiPath or other similar tools
5+ years' experience documenting requirements
Deep understanding of RPA specifically UiPath development methodologies
General knowledge of SQL and Databases
Excellent documentation and professional tools experience such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
Excellent communication skills ability to effectively understand and explain new business processes to stakeholders and users
Ability to coach, mentor, and provide feedback
Analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

Maintain a UiPath Certification - UiPath Certified Professional Automation Business Analyst Professional

Responsibilities:
Will gather requirements and understand current business processes for automation candidates
Identifies opportunities for automation use cases and educates the business about viable automation
Facilitate discovery workshops for automation programs, including managing stakeholders, leading LSS process improvement activities, and supporting automation design
Assists in and creation of automation design documents to support business decision-making, process streamlining, automation development and performance
Creates automation business cases to document automation business value and ROI
Partners with developers, solution architects, vendors and project managers to create timelines, automation development and business validation to leadership
Assists in the creation of automation roadmap; executes upon automation initiatives and delivery of timelines for themselves and other Analysts as needed
Ability to communicate with stakeholders clearly, timely and professionally, both in writing and verbally
Independently problem solve to remove blockers, identify risks, and create mitigation plans, and escalate timely
High-level knowledge of automation tools, including UiPath capabilities
Proficiency in UiPath tools, including robot, studio, and orchestrator
Provide solution designs to clients during new deployments, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and project implementation phases
Understands and follows through with business requirements during all phases of development
Communicates effectively within the RUMC (Rush University Medical Center) organization across all teams.
