Title: Project Manager
Under general supervision, oversees the planning, defining, and documenting of CEIP initiatives or projects; monitors the progress and completion, and ensures they meet the district's strategic goals and vision.
Essential Functions:
The following duties are representative of this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Tasks and responsibilities will be in concurrence with implementing the Strategic Plan and Aligned Management System. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Manages all phases of projects from initiation through implementation be effectively applying standard project management processes, procedures, and methodologies
Manages cross-functional projects and leads project meetings with district leadership and designated school-based staff and community stakeholders
Develops and implements strategy for the program team, including developing a robust mitigation plan
Completes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; gathers feedback and presents insights to leadership and stakeholders
Manages resources for the program including day to day operational aspects of project scope including salaries, stipends, travel, materials, supplies, and vendors
Represent the Deputy Superintendent at cross-functional meetings to support the implementation of district strategic priorities
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university in Business, Project Management, or closely related field required.
Minimum five (5) years of Project Management experience required.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or closely related certification approved by PMI required
