Role description:

Arcadis seeks a Project Manager for our Anchorage, Alaska office with 7+ years' experience in construction and managing design and construction for vertical construction, utilities, and/or civil projects. As the Owner's Representative, Arcadis works with Owners, Designers and Contractors to successfully deliver construction projects within budget, scope and schedule.

Role accountabilities:
  • Serve as Owner's Representative for Anchorage and Northern Alaska building projects within the healthcare industry
  • Development of project schedules to include the planning and scheduling of activities pertinent to the design, engineering, and construction of projects
  • Perform project scheduling activities, identify linkages, conflicts, interfaces, and relationships within and among projects
  • Identify accurate project cost and schedule information to assist project managers, project sponsors, senior management, and Commission to make sound financial and timeline decisions for projects
  • Create a supportive team-oriented work climate that enables individuals to develop professionally; values diversity, promotes teamwork and collaboration, and emphasizes quality, customer satisfaction, creativity, and cost-effectiveness
  • Participate in project team coordination meetings with Owner, Design Team, Contractor, and Stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager working on multiple construction projects
  • Experience managing and leading project teams
  • Experience leading and implementing complex business solutions
  • Extensive experience working in the Alaskan construction sector
  • Strong commitment to health and safety

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Relevant professional qualifications related to project management and or project cost management
  • Subject matter expertise in own discipline

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $104,920 - $140,000 per year.
