The Global Distribution Analyst, reporting to the Director of Global Distribution and Transportation, will play a crucial role in supporting the expansion of the BVI Distribution network. This position involves assisting in the development of long-term strategies and addressing daily business needs, with a strong emphasis on customer service to enhance patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure top-tier performance at BVI's finished goods distribution warehouses, managing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and overseeing BVI's transportation partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and manage the BVI Global Distribution function: Interact daily with both internal and external key stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot customer delivery issues: Collaborate with transportation service providers to resolve delivery problems efficiently.
  • Lead weekly calls with 3PL partners: Track open actions, drive process improvements, manage KPIs, and oversee distribution projects.
  • Collaborate with Global Supply Planners: Reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Utilize IFS ERP system: Process warehouse transactions, including inbound receipts, count adjustments, and RMAs. Expectation to become a SME in this workflow.
  • Monitor and control warehouse cycle counts: Execute necessary adjustments to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and deploy transportation/distribution KPIs: Ensure data-driven decision-making and hold suppliers accountable.
  • Create process flow documents and SOPs: Standardize distribution practices for consistent execution.
  • Leverage data into business intelligence: Interpret and analyze data to support informed business decisions.
  • Additional Ad-hoc requests as required.

Qualification
  • Warehouse and/or 3PL management experience, transportation/logistics, medical device or life science experience or other highly regulated industry
  • Data Analysis and use of reporting and data mining tools including POWER BI, SQL, Power BI, MS Access, Alteryx, MS Excel
  • IFS ERP Experience is a plus
