SUMMARY
This role has the responsibility for internal and external Supply Chain processes & continuity projects.
Has leadership responsibility of our Supply Continuity team, working collaboratively across Pella Material Planning, Supply Base, and Manufacturing to drive actions and projects that mitigate supply continuity risks. Has responsibility for strategically defining and driving the execution of the Supply Chain processes across all applicable commodities and Pella business functions. This role has responsibility drive improvements, standardization, and adherence to Supply Chain processes. Responsible to coordinate efforts with other functions and departments as needed. This person is a Supply Chain process subject matter expert in the organization.
In addition to leadership of our Supply Continuity team, this role also leads major supply chain projects and performance improvement initiatives. This includes leading project management efforts, a resource to implement project activities with suppliers, and identifying improvement solutions for complicated supplier problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for leading our Supply Continuity team, leading projects that mitigate immediate and medium-term supply risks. Has process ownership for Pella's Supply Chain Continuity and Assurance processes. Responsible for identifying and implementing solutions with suppliers for complicated supplier problems.
Lead and implement identified critical supply chain projects.
Will partner with the Strategic Commodity Managers, Supply Managers, Procurement Analysts, and Procurement Specialists in the respective commodities to drive standard processes and efficiency. Will also be responsible for developing metrics and reporting to monitor progress.
Will work closely with the Corporate Materials Management and Logistics teams to develop and improve Supply Chain activities which interact with those functions. This position may also work closely with the Product Marketing, Finance, IT and Legal teams on projects and process improvements.
This position coordinates data analysis, monitors metrics, and works with the commodity teams to improve processes.
FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE REQUIREMENTS
Supply Chain Process Manager will need specific skill sets and experiences. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Supply Management experience with direct or indirect commodities
Experience with end-to-end supply chain processes
Process improvement, continuous improvement, or project management experience
Accountability measures and metrics
Supply Chain Risk Management
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
Will require 10 to 20 percent travel as needed to support major project implementations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has direct supervisory responsibilities. Will also indirectly influence the Strategic Commodity Managers, Supply Managers, and Procurement Specialists.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B. S.) from four-year college or university; and five years related Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management experience and/or training.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point as well as Power BI, ASCP, Oracle
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
ISM - CPSM or other supply chain certification desired, but not required
