The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. THE PROJECT
The Sponsor's office is responsible for developing and delivering enterprise software that drives
collaboration data analysis. The Sponsor's portfolio consists of over 100 systems that are mostly custom applications along with a small number of COTS products and Enterprise cross domain hardware and software. The Sponsor needs a team to deliver system architecture products, ensure cyber security compliance, monitor and assist teams with the Approval and Accreditation (A&A) processes, and provide IT Operations support.

THE PROJECT
The Sponsor's office is responsible for developing and delivering enterprise software that drives

The Sponsor needs a team to deliver system architecture products, ensure cyber security compliance, monitor and assist teams with the Approval and Accreditation (A&A) processes, and provide IT Operations support.
THE ROLE
- The Contractor shall proactively update the portfolio to decrease the impact of future or current CVEs (based on current and historical trends).
- The Contractor shall participate in security focused pilot programs.
- The Contractor shall be the Sponsor's point of contact for all cyber security matters, to include keeping all teams and ISSEs abreast of changing requirements or processes.
- The Contractor shall assist programs with the A&A process to include completing and reviewing security controls and assist with high priority requirements.
- The Contractor shall track and monitor the accreditation statuses for the portfolio and ensure teams are meeting all continuous monitoring requirements (ie: performing scans on time and keeping their packages up to date).
- The Contractor shall seek efficiencies in monitoring and reporting security metrics and goal posts.
- The Contractor shall facilitate bi-weekly meetings with the Sponsor's ISSMs and report any guidance to the teams.
- The Contractor shall provide security related updates at weekly meetings.
- The Contractor shall monitor each project's system inventory and libraries to ensure teams are updating on a regular cadence in order to prevent major code refactors due to end-of-life or end-of-service software.
- The Contractor shall track and monitor potential security vulnerabilities and assist with mitigation.
- The Contractor, in partnership with Sponsor, shall assist teams with the adoption of a Zero Trust Architecture.
- The Contractor, in partnership with Sponsor, shall identify security requirements or concerns for new technologies such as Generative AI and research methods to mitigate them.
- The Contractor shall work with development teams to meet the Sponsor's objectives which include: Enterprise CI/CD Pipeline Adoption, refactoring systems to store or process highly sensitive data without running multiple instances.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow's ITSM module to include: maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), tracking Incidents and creating or approving Change Requests.
- Demonstrated experience as an Ops Manager for a portfolio that includes upwards of 50 systems
- Demonstrated experience architecting systems in AWS to include performing periodic reviews for cost optimization.
- Demonstrated experience with the A&A process to include continuous monitoring.
- Demonstrated experience tracking and mitigating security vulnerabilities for a portfolio that includes upwards of 50 systems.
- Demonstrated experience architecting systems that hold or process sensitive data.
- Demonstrated experience performing in depth evaluations on new requirements in order to promote a commercial first approach to system design.
- Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise systems

- Demonstrated experience configuring cloud services on the Sponsor's systems.
- Demonstrated experience using requirements tracking programs such as JIRA or Confluence.
- Demonstrated experience with DevOps related tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Demonstrated experience with the Nitro CI/CD Pipeline.
- Demonstrated experience architecting solutions with the Azure, Google, IBM and Oracle CSPs.
- Demonstrated experience performing accessibility scoring.
- Demonstrated experience with hybrid cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with low to high development / deployment.
- Demonstrated experience serving as an ISSM.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML products.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated experience creating dashboards with Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience participating in programs to evaluate new technologies and determine not only their mission value but their security posture as it relates to the Sponsor's requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Raise-the-Bar standards with regards to enterprise cross domain.
- Demonstrated experience developing dashboards in ServiceNow, Tableau or PowerBI.
- Current relevant Cloud / Security certifications.
- Higher level degree in a technical field or MBA
