About The Role
Role duties:
- Preparing, Scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned projects
- Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interacting daily with on-site personnel from production & Health and safety to interpret their needs and requirements, and then come up with solutions.
- Source, Raise orders and deal with contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Organize the unloading, positioning and service connection of multi million pound/dollar machinery.
- Ensure successful installation of such machinery
- Create documents for trialing the machinery by understanding the product and the machine needs. (The candidate will be expected to learn the full range of products, and suitable quality standards, to ensure that they can organize trials and materials for any machine required)
- Walk the site to ensure contractors are following on-site rules, they have everything they need and to get updates on works

Role Requirements:
- Advanced MS Office Skills
- Proven work experience as a project engineer
- Proven problem solving skills
- Exceptional decision making ability and leadership skills
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Ability to chair on-site meetings to provide updates and receive feedback on existing projects
- Ability to see room for improvement and implement
- Previous experience of installing and signing off manufacturing machinery
- The ability to work in a team and alone to ensure items are delivered.
- The ability to find solutions with no support if required.
