Senior Web Developer

The Swift Group is looking for a Senior Web Developer to support a team in training development for its mission as a provider of digital tradecraft training and learning delivery for the broader organization they serve. As the Web Developer, you will create CBTs and support and lead web design, development, production, testing and troubleshooting projects of medium to high complexity. Sites may incorporate multiple learning objects such as readings, photographs, video surveys and assessments. Additional responsibilities include:

• Create training and continuing education graphics materials for IT systems.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that generates economies and fast delivery schedules.
• Follow organizational standards and procedures in the production and distribution of work products.
• Plan, coordinate and develop graphic projects to meet short lead-time executive projects.
• Recommend strategies to sharpen communications themes.
• Develop original, innovative graphic designs, formats, templates, and standards for training product design within a project team environment.
• Apply the principles of typography, color theory design content, and aesthetics and composition to develop training material for IT systems.
• Design and produce a wide range of executive communications and marketing products.
• Design identity, iconography, artist concepts, and three-dimensional exhibit and display design.
• Adhere to established technical production and quality control standards and guidelines.
• Design and produce original illustrations, charts, schematics, executive "placemat" products, and brief management on the status of projects, as needed or requested.
• Ensure quality control, graphic usability, deliverability, and archive final products.
• Test products, including Web and online, for display and operability.

This position is located in Chantilly, VA.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in web design, development, production, testing and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience with UX/UI as well as multimedia and graphics production.
• Demonstrated experience implementing dynamic web pages, custom application plugins and widgets, and custom Cascading style sheets.
• Demonstrated experience in 3 or more of the following applications C#, Ajax/Java Script, HTML 5, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
• Demonstrated experience using Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Captivate, and Camtasia.
• Demonstrated experience using approved section 508/accessibility compliance tools
• HS Diploma
• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience using Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, and Captivate, Camtasia, and Wordpress.
• Demonstrated experience implementing dynamic web pages, custom application plugins and widgets, and custom Cascading style sheet.
• Demonstrated experience in 3 or more applications such as C#, Ajax/Java Script, HTML 5, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
