Information Systems Security Manager

We are seeking a skilled & experienced Information Systems Security (Infosec) Manager to join us in scaling out modern and advanced approaches to cybersecurity. This role will expand & help lead our overall information security strategy, policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Redwood Materials' information systems and data assets.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct & report regular risk assessments, implement vulnerability management scans to identify, assess, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop, implement, and manage information security policies & procedures in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage security incidents and breaches, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
• Communicate with business units to integrate security controls into processes and applications.
• Lead and coordinate security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Maintain current knowledge with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in information security and recommend methods for mitigation of threats.
• Collaborate with IT & OT teams on security-related matters, including system design & configuration, endpoint management, and best practices.

Desired Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security related roles.
• CISSP or equivalent certification.
• In-depth knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
• Advanced knowledge of IDS/IPS, SSO & MFA, BEC Defense, and other security tools.
• Experience performing pen tests or other posture evaluation techniques.
• Advanced understanding of enterprise network architectures & technologies.
• Experience with security in hybrid cloud / on-prem environments.
• Experience managing physical security systems, such as Gallagher, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, or others.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, MacOS and industrial systems.
• Proven leadership and project management skills with the ability to lead and execute security initiatives.
• Excellent attitude, team collaboration, communication, and self-motivation.

The position is full-time and in the greater Reno, Nevada area. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
