Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree.
- Seven (7) years of progressively more responsible job specific related experience in teaching and/or administration and supervision.
- Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to the assignment.
- Administration and supervision Prek-12 endorsement.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and current trends of school administration.
- Knowledge of the procedures and practices of the educational specialties in a preK-12 educational environment.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations related to K-12 curriculum and instruction.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to manage fiscal, physical, and human resources to successfully carry out the function and programs of the office.
- Ability to supervise, evaluate, and lead.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups, including the School Board.
- Capacity to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with personnel assigned to schools, other departments, public entities, families, and citizens
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
