Planning SIOP Manager

Planning SIOP Manager for our Pittsburgh, PA location, This position is responsible for the effective management and enhancement of the SIOP Process for a multi-asset, multi-site metals manufacturing operation.In addition, providing thought-leadership and best-practices to the Production Control department so as to optimize and ensure a successful forecast and execution of the annual operating plan. The individual will monitor and maintain key operations and delivery metrics on a daily basis that drives business decisions for all areas of the company.The candidate will be the primary liaison between operations and order full-fillment and sustains balance between operational performance, customer satisfaction, and value-added revenue optimization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:B.S.degreein Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.Lean or Six Sigma training a plus.

Experience:10+ years in manufacturing and/or Supply Chain, 5+ years of SIOP or S&OP Process Management

Special Abilities:Knowledge and experience of Enterprise or Materials Resource Planning software, spreadsheets, and databases.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material specifications, and logistics.

Must be action-oriented with proven success in fast paced environments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
