Compensation:
Salary Range: $81,780 - $116,074 (Grade F, 496 Hay Points)
Responsibilities:
The Director, Revenue Security Operations will be responsible for security operations at the Consolidated Revenue Facility (CRF), disaster recovery site, and remote reporting sites. The incumbent will oversee all aspects of the armed security guard contract; ensure armed NYCT personnel receive all required use of force and firearm training; manage gun custodial functions regarding security and accountability of NYCT handguns; liaison with NYPD to facilitate pistol license approval/renewal applications; provide technical expertise and ensure maintenance of security equipment & systems; liaison with security contractors for installation & maintenance of security systems. Moreover, the selected candidate will audit all security operations and conduct security investigations for the Department.
Education and Experience:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, security management, or a related field and six (6) years of full-time, paid, related experience, and at least three (3) years of which must have been in a managerial/supervisory/administrative capacity; or A satisfactory equivalent of education and/or experience. Valid NYC Pistol Permit or the ability to obtain one.

- Possess a valid handgun license within the State of New York and be eligible to obtain a handgun Carry Guard License in New York City.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
- Experience in supervising and/or managing security operations and/or personnel.
- Knowledge of security access and controls.
- Knowledge of CCTV camera surveillance system monitoring.
- Knowledge of the principles of firearms instruction and the regulations for NYS Armed Security Guards.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and exercise good judgment.
- PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of Training and regulatory compliance.
- Certified as a New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Instructor.
- Knowledge of audit procedures
