The Leidos Health Mission Solutions Business area of Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Atlassian SaaS Engineer/Admin to support our federal customer.
The successful candidate will oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of Atlassian SaaS products, ensuring they align with our operational needs and federal compliance standards. Role is primarily telecommuting with a preference for the ability to be onsite in the DC/MD area one day per week.
Candidate MUST be in the United States currently and for the current 3 consecutive years and be a US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end setup, configuration, and integration of Atlassian SaaS solutions, ensuring they are tailored to the agency's requirements and federal standards.
  • Provide expert oversight and strategic guidance for established Atlassian products, ensuring they continue to meet the agency's evolving needs and compliance requirements.
  • Offer insights for product maturation, best practices, and advanced troubleshooting for complex production issues.
  • Collaborate with the federal lead enterprise architect, Leidos enterprise architect, Product Owners, the ICAM lead, the Security Team, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with the agency's IT architecture.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Atlassian configurations, policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence to federal guidelines.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and conduct training sessions to empower internal teams with the skills needed to effectively use and support Atlassian products.
  • Stay updated on Atlassian technology trends and developments, advocating for and implementing enhancements that will benefit the agency.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all Atlassian deployments in compliance with federal cybersecurity protocols.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Atlassian vendors for new products, feature requests, and complex issues troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 or more years of related engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SaaS environments with 2+ years in a federal or regulated setting, with a proven track record of managing Atlassian products through various lifecycle stages.
  • Deep knowledge of and experience with Atlassian SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with federal IT regulations, compliance standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to provide expert advice and practical solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership experience with a focus on delivering results in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in cloud computing or SaaS technologies are preferred.

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
