We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our client's on-premises network infrastructure. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of secure and efficient network solutions that support our client's business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members. This is an On-site role for 3+ days/week.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of secure and efficient network solutions that support our client's business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members. This is an On-site role for 3+ days/week.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and configure on-premises firewalls (Palo Alto, Juniper) to ensure network security and compliance.
- Establish and manage secure IPSec tunnels for data transmission between sites.
- Design and implement efficient routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) for optimal network performance.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of on-premises switches, access points (Aruba Wi-Fi), and other networking equipment.
- Execute and document changes related to firewall rules, routing updates, and other network configurations.
- Identify and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to plan and implement network projects.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation for reference and future troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Network Engineer or equivalent role with a focus on on-premises network infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP), firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Juniper), and routing concepts.
- Demonstrated experience with managing on-premise firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or PCNSE are highly desirable.
