Position Summary: We are in search of a Director of Accreditation and Research to spearhead our efforts in maintaining the highest standards of educational excellence and efficacy within our reading intervention programs. The successful candidate will ensure our curriculum not only meets but exceeds accreditation standards and is continually refined through cutting-edge research. This role is critical in positioning our programs as benchmarks in literacy education, embodying the best in pedagogical practices and learner outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the initiative to obtain and maintain accreditation from relevant educational and professional bodies, ensuring our programs adhere to the highest standards of educational quality and integrity.
  • Design and oversee research projects to evaluate the effectiveness of our reading intervention programs, incorporating the latest developments in educational science and literacy research.
  • Collaborate with curriculum development teams to integrate research findings into program enhancements and innovations.
  • Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations to advance literacy education research and practice.
  • Ensure compliance with all accreditation standards and requirements, preparing and submitting all necessary documentation and reports.
  • Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and other industry events, sharing insights and learnings from our programs and research.
  • Support our Partnership Development team from time to time with state approval opportunities.


Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Education (or current Doctoral candidate), Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational research, accreditation processes, or a similar role, preferably within the context of reading or literacy programs.
  • Proven track record of managing accreditation processes for educational programs or institutions.
  • Strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, with experience in designing and leading educational research projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educational authorities, institutions, and professional bodies.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from academic researchers to educational practitioners.


Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, tablets, or any other device necessary to meet the needs of the department.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our company offers flex hours that can be established with the immediate supervisor.

Travel: Primarily local but travel to support conferences and partnership activity is possible.
