Job Description

This leader will executive the strategy and management of the Therapeutic Urology portfolio at Laborie. This includes the PrimeSight cystoscopy platform as well as all therapeutic offerings.

  • The Director of Global Marketing, Urology Therapeutics maintains direct management of the Therapeutics P&L and is responsible for planning, prioritizing, coordinating and reporting on all portfolio-related activities and leading a team to effectively execute strategic objectives to achieve targets.
  • This position requires leading, developing and directing Commercial Marketing and Global Product Managers as well as driving close collaboration with cross-functional partners, as this role is ultimately responsible for the business success of the UR Therapy portfolio


Products

Will oversee Laborie's PrimeSight and Therapy portfolio - focus will be on PrimeSight cystoscopy platform, InjeTAK Cystocscopy Needles/botox needle, UrgentPC, Macroplastique/Plastique Bulking Family of products, and heavy focus on the Eclipse System (newest).

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, MBA from an accredited university preferred
  • 5-9+ years of professional work experience (i.e., marketing, sales, business leadership, etc.)
  • 4-5+ years of leadership experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Management of P&L with proven experience in rationalization
  • Demonstrated and sustained success in delivery of global new product development, sustaining activities, and commercialization
  • Demonstrated success in achieving operating plan over successive years
  • Marketing experience in a global matrixed environment
  • Exposure in large and small cap environments
  • Familiarity with general medical device procedures and/or products
  • Phase gate process and new product development experience
  • Strong preference for candidates with demonstrated success and experience in a cross-functional role(s) such as Sales, Finance, Research & Development, Operations, etc.

Job Requirements
  • Leadership of the global strategy and management of UR Therapy portfolio
  • People Manager responsibility including developing, coaching, and leading a team
  • Global P&L ownership across Therapy portfolio
  • Leverage market insights and opportunities in close partnership with region leaders to determine investment strategy and global mix
  • Leverage cross-functional resources to ensure prioritization and delivery based on Annual Operating Plan
  • Partner with portfolio teams and Business Development in identification of adjacencies/opportunities
  • Establish processes and company-wide communication cadence to share, track, and update on portfolio strategy for PrimeSight and Therapeutic offerings
  • Oversee team in the development and implementation of product roadmap from innovation/sustaining to commercialization or rationalization
  • Effectively lead portfolio through critical business processes such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) / Quality Reviews / Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / Strategic Market Assessment & Annual Strategic Plan
  • Ensures consistent feedback loop between marketing, sales, operations and services to drive clarity and continual refinement on portfolio key success factors
  • Drive multi-year product plans for the portfolio
  • Responsible for assessing design reviews and approval of Therapy related projects
  • Additional duties as required.

Compensation Information
  • Base Salary: $190k-200k
  • 20 % AIP
  • Additional Compensation Benefits
    • Corporate card for travel requirements, $170/day meal stipend for meals, corporate card
      reimbursement process
    • Mileage/fuel reimbursement (Average $400-600 for car)
    • Cell phone stipend of $100/month


Location

Candidate Location: New England region acceptable. Boston, MA / NH or close surrounding areas preferred

Travel: See above, if not local to HQ - 3-4 days at HQ a month is required.
