As a Louis Vuitton Sr. Merchandising Manager - Fragrances, you will be an ambassador of the Brand. The Sr. Merch Manager will be responsible for driving all Fragrances product categories for the Louis Vuitton stores in the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as digital.

As the Sr. Merchandising Manager - Fragrances, this person will lead the category and implement market-specific product strategies, in coordination with corporate partners both locally and with Paris. They will support all our retail and digital networks/teams to drive the Fragrance businesses.

Profil

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead Fragrance category, implement the strategy across both retail and digital.
  • Develop and champion sound business plans to support ambitious category growth.


Innovation:
  • Build tailored strategies by category to deliver financial objectives while continually analyzing performance to adjust when needed.
  • Clearly communicate and partner on category strategies with corporate partners: Supply Chain, Client Relations, Visual Merchandising, Retail, Retail Learning, Finance, Communications, and Digital.
  • Become a pivotal role for the Fragrance business, ensure constant follow-up with analysis of merchandise strategies to Corporate and Paris partners, inclusive of feedback to Paris on the needs of the America's market, and on the competitive landscape.


Client Centric + Excellence:
  • Build and maintain a close partnership with Supply Chain to maximize inventory efficiencies based on stock targets, phase sales based on expected delivery plans, and revise forecasts based on network & event needs.
  • Ensure the impact of all product launches working in a 360 approach with corporate and regional teams. Partner closely with Visual Merchandising to ensure the best execution in-store.
  • Partner with the Digital team to optimize online business and client experience.
  • Closely liaise with Regional Merchandizing managers to maximize Fragrance strategy and support execution at store level.
  • Ensure consistent presence in the market, obtaining product and clients' feedback. Animate store network, bringing awareness and engagement around merchandising strategies.
  • Actively organize and drive product knowledge & training for the store network.
  • Lead and develop Associate Merchandisers supporting the categories.


We are eager to speak to professionals who have exceptional experience in the retail merchandising/buying with focus on Fragrance. A p assionate, pragmatic, and analytical professional who is driven for results and works well in a fast-paced environment; Ability to influence across the organization with sophisticated product allocation and product knowledge across the competitive landscape.

In addition this merchant will be a skilled communicator who can synthesize large data sets and prioritize key opportunities with high proficiency in Excel. Client experience focused with an eye for details. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as business requires.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $115,000-130,000 annually plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions. The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.

This position will report directly to International Business Development Director, based in Paris and work closely with the Paris Product Team/Marketing Teams, in addition to local Regional Zone Leads. In this position, the Sr. Merchandising Manager will also cross collaborate with Function Business Leaders in the following departments: Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, Client Dev/Rel., Digital and Retail Regional Teams.
