As the Director of Tax, you will oversee the corporate tax function with the goal of reducing the company's tax expense and cash taxes while meeting all compliance obligations.

As the Director of Tax, you will oversee the corporate tax function with the goal of reducing the company's tax expense and cash taxes while meeting all compliance obligations.
Using your tax accounting skills and passion for working with numbers you will be accountable for:
- Tax compliance, research, and audits for federal and state income/franchise tax
- Tax accounting and forecasting, including preparation and documentation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, related financial statement disclosures, and SOX controls
- Tax planning to project and minimize the company's future tax liabilities
- Maintenance of Section 382 evaluation
- Overseeing sales and use tax compliance, research, and audits
- Overseeing property tax and business license compliance as well as unclaimed property compliance
- Providing advice and guidance as needed on payroll tax and other miscellaneous tax issues
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MST preferred; CPA required
- 8+ years in corporate tax with a publicly traded company or a mix of public accounting and corporate tax experience
- Experience with ASC 740 and FIN 48
- Experience with corporate income tax return preparation at Federal and State levels
- Experience with sales and use tax audits (preferred)
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel
