The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $115,000 - $125,000.

Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Quality Assurance Testerwithin our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Test Plans:
- Design, develop, and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and load tests to validate the functionality of software products.
Collaborate with Development Team:
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
Bug Tracking and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring a high level of product quality.
Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our QA practices are cutting-edge.
End-User Testing:
- Facilitate and coordinate end-user testing sessions
Mandatory Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within a software development environment.
- Proven experience in developing and executing test protocols.
Test Development Skills:
- At least three years of experience in creating test entrance and exit criteria, developing test case scenarios, preparing test data, and defining roles and responsibilities for testing.
User Testing Coordination:
- Three years of experience in planning, executing, facilitating, and coordinating end-user system testing.
- Effective communication and documentation skills for reporting status and issues to stakeholders.
