Position Description:

The mission of the operations excellence group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner within the operations organization - through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence. We also identify and drive critical projects and strategic initiatives to support revenue growth. A key focus is to ensure operational processes are clearly defined and scalable for both organic growth and growth by M&A activity.

The Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to help the business make informed decisions. This role requires an individual who can use their analytical skills to identify patterns and trends in data, and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. They review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide support to business leaders to facilitate planning and execution of strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the operations organization.

Reporting into the Operational Excellence group and working with key Business Unit stakeholders, the ideal candidate will have expert analytical and technical skills, as well as the ability to gather requirements and produce deliverables to key stakeholders. They should also have a deep understanding of all Operational systems and data to assess and determine the success of specific initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (Business Unit and Operations Leaders) to proactively discover business insights and develop business recommendations, while monitoring team health, progress, and compliance requirements
  • Responsible for complete understanding of all BioIVT Operational systems and data architecture (Salesforce, Sage X3, SEI, other external data sources).
  • Use statistical software to manipulate, clean, and organize data in preparation for analysis. Provide feedback to cross-functional departments to improve the data quality at the source.
  • Create dashboards and reports to present data insights to key stakeholders
  • Operations representative to partner with cross-functional counterparts in Business Unit, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, IT to ensure Operational data integrity, and alignment
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date on new technology and best practices in data analysis

Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analyst role preferably within an operations environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, with the ability to manipulate large data sets, create complex pivot tables and charts, dashboards, etc
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau (or other BI tool)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to apply knowledge and creativity to resolve standard and complex business issues
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
  • Organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Confident, helpful, customer-oriented
  • Proven ability to take on multiple projects and see them to completion successfully
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimum supervision
  • Some travel / working hours flexibility will be required as part of a global organization.
