VSolvit is seeking an C5I Analyst for support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division. We are seeking a highly motivated C5I Modernization Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities
- Utilize and communicate division-level processes and tools to support RM&A assessment
- Combine and integrate failure data to analyze and assess system readiness
- Develop and document reliability models and criteria for scoring system failure events
- Research and learn Navy systems.
- Utilize readiness assessment tools, both Navy and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)
- Learn and implement the established data editing process, including data review and extraction & loading
- Validate applicable certifications and maturity elements for completeness and accuracy
- Track the maturity progress of installation requests
- Draft project plans to meet Surface Warfare alterations for the OFRP of ship life cycles
- Conduct objective quality assessments and provide recommendations to enhance fleet readiness at both system and platform levels
- This role requires the ability to properly prioritize and multi-task. You must be able to work collaboratively with our project team
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant degree
- Knowledge of probability theory and its application in the field of reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A)
- Understanding of reliability principles
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to acquire a SECRET security clearance
- Ability to support, communicate, and liaison with U.S. Naval Officers, senior enlisted, civil service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- An Active Secret clearance
- Knowledge of US Navy maintenance philosophy
- 5+ years experience in C5I
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Knowledge of Navy organization, structure, ship classes, and shipboard systems
