The Kids Dentist in Mequon, WI is looking for a super fun and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team!
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8AM-5PM & Friday 8AM-3PM
Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling and polishing
- take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
- Update patient records and maintain accurate documentation of treatment performed
- Use dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic to manage patient information and appointments
Qualifications:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Associates degree in Dental Hygiene
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix or Epic
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Salary: $40-42 per hour
