System Administrator [#4643]

Alteo is looking for a System Administrator for a permanent position based in Montreal.

You will be responsible for the smooth operation and evolution of the IT infrastructure. You will possess technical expertise, strategic vision and the ability to manage infrastructure projects. You will play an important role in optimizing IT systems, ensuring data security and supporting technological innovation within the company.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor advanced technological solutions to improve the performance, reliability and efficiency of the existing IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain a robust security framework to protect the company against IT risks, ensuring infrastructure compliance.
• Automate routine tasks to improve the efficiency of IT operations and reduce the risk of human error, while optimizing system resources for maximum performance
• Proactively identify and resolve problems before they affect business operations
• Serve as a technical reference for the IT team, sharing knowledge, guiding and training team members on best practices and new technologies
• Establish a diagnosis based on incidents experienced by users
• Provide support to users and manage IT requests.

Profile:

• AEC/DEC in IT or equivalent
• 5-10+ years' experience in a systems administration role
• Expertise in operating systems (Windows Server), virtualization (VMware), cloud computing (Azure), networking, IT security, and automation.
• Available for remote support 24-7 (rotating 1 week/3, with bonus)
• Be able to travel occasionally to our warehouses in Montreal and Boucherville
• Professional certifications (e.g. CCNA, CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to manage projects and priorities
• Team player, positive attitude, with good communication skills

Vous serez responsable du bon fonctionnement et de l'volution de l'infrastructure TI. Vous possdez une expertise technique, une vision stratgique et une capacit grer des projets d'infrastructure. Vous jouerez un rle important dans l'optimisation des systmes informatiques, la scurit des donnes et le soutien l'innovation technologique au sein de l'entreprise.

Responsabilit

• Concevoir, mettre en uvre et superviser des solutions technologiques avances pour amliorer la performance, la fiabilit et l'efficacit de l'infrastructure IT existante
• Dvelopper et maintenir un cadre de scurit robuste pour protger l'entreprise contre les risques informatiques, en assurant la conformit de l'infrastructure
• Automatiser les tches de routine pour amliorer l'efficacit des oprations IT et rduire les risques d'erreurs humaines, tout en optimisant les ressources systme pour une performance maximale
• Identifier et rsoudre proactivement les problmes avant qu'ils n'affectent les oprations de l'entreprise
• Servir de rfrence technique pour l'quipe IT, en partageant des connaissances, en guidant et en formant les membres de l'quipe sur les meilleures pratiques et les nouvelles technologies
• tablir un diagnostic bas sur les incidents expriments par les usagers
• Assurer le support aux usagers et grer les requtes TI.

Profil:

• AEC/DEC en informatique ou l'quivalent
• 5-10+ annes d'exprience dans un rle d'administration de systmes
• Expertise dans les systmes d'exploitation (Windows Server), virtualisation (VMware), cloud computing (Azure), rseautique, scurit informatique, et automatisation.
• Disponible pour du support distance 24-7 (en rotation 1 semaine/3, avec prime)
• tre en mesure de vous dplacer occasionnellement sur nos entrepts situs Montral et Boucherville
