Principal - David Brearley Middle-High School

Anticipated Start Date: Sept. 1, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Master's Degree from an accredited or approved institution.
  • Valid NJ Certification as a Principal/Supervisor.
  • At least five years of successful experience teaching in a middle school or high school.
  • Knowledge/experience with middle-high school programs.
  • At least three years of successful experience as a supervisor or building administrator.
  • Must be an instructional leader.
  • Possesses outstanding communication skills.
  • Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
  • Must meet NJ Residency requirements per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).


REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools

TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: 12-month position

  • knowledge of the budgeting process
  • a commitment to outreaching and partnering with parents and community
  • conflict resolution skills necessary to mediate challenging situations
