The Zaxby's Support Center is looking for a Sr. Manager, Coop Media to support the Field Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving awareness, purchase intent, consideration, and purchase through our local coop media plans. In collaboration with the media agency, you will develop media strategies to meet business goals, be responsible for optimizing local channel mix, own local media results across the funnel and partner with our franchisees to communicate our approach to media planning to gain coop approvals on media plans.

SALARY RANGE:
$90,000 - $120,000 annually

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Translate business objectives, goals, and strategies into practical tactics across multiple channels; these tactics aim to effectively generate traffic and drive awareness and consideration
- Work in concert with the media planning agency to develop national, regional, and local media plans across multiple channels, including, but not necessarily limited to CTC/OTV, Social, Display, TV, Digital Audio, Podcast, Influencer, Radio, TV, OOH and 3PD
- Work with creative agency and media planning agency to map the appropriate messages to the appropriate creative vehicles, placements, and sequencing
- Provide thought leadership on current trends and innovations in media and assessing their potential applicability to Zaxby's media plans
- Actively monitor media KPIs and reporting on performance to inform optimization of traditional channels
- Provide appropriate oversight of media agencies using media tools to monitor delivery and spending
- Manage local media spend; recording, reporting, and processing all budget items. In addition to monitoring sales and ensuring no market is over budget
- Lead media insights work inclusive of media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, and closed-loop reporting
- Work across the organization to develop frameworks for better measuring and understanding media effectiveness
- Work with media agency and brand communications team to optimize ongoing campaigns based on performance, shifts in strategy or changes in the market landscape
- Author media briefs
- Communicate with franchisee system to build confidence in their media plans and execution
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple functions
- Demonstrable experience and expertise in leading campaign development from conception to execution
- Mastery of media fundamentals; fluency in digital and traditional media
- Experience with local media planning
- Strong ability to influence and gain alignment with various stakeholders
- Deep local channel expertise
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong presentation skills

- Detail oriented
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in media strategy/planning; at least 5 years in local planning; experience working with/in a franchise organization; QSR experience a plus
