The Territory Lead will oversee and manage a territory for market, including distributor management and key account management. The Territory Lead supervises account leads & distributor teams to ensure target, plans, and sales goals are achieved.
Profile | Key Accountabilities

Distributor Management:
  • Handles day-to-day relationship with distributors for Key accounts within market
  • Communicates guidelines & expectations to distributors to ensure flawless execution across all channels within scope, brand objectives and strategies, and to deliver targets
  • Tracks distributor critical metrics, based on brand/market priorities; takes corrective action as necessary
  • Drives distributor to meet sales & depletion goals & implement the national and local program calendar
  • Participation in Market/Maison visitors, blitzes, and distributor education
Account Management:
  • Has account management responsibilities for top MH priority accounts
  • Responsible for sales & depletion goals for On/Off-Premise channel
  • Informs market lead of inventory risks or opportunity to influence market forecasts
  • Owns program/activity calendar for distributor-managed accounts & MH managed accounts
  • Ensures account needs for programs and activations are met and implemented within MH brand guidelines
Strategy & Planning:
  • Proposes programs/events in local market to be included in the program calendar in partnership with FTM
  • Conducts competitive analysis & proposes new business opportunities for the channel to market lead
People Management:
  • Trains and develops account leads & distributor (GSMs & in the market training)

Additional Information | Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required

Education

Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience required.

Professional Experience

7+ years of professional experience within sales and channel distribution.

Practical/Technical Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of and delivery on consumer expectations within territory
  • Able to maintain a flexible and adaptable approach by continually evaluating, revising, and responding with agility to meet rapidly evolving business needs
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and distributor networks
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills to navigate complex relationships spanning broad geographies
  • Well-developed finance and budget management skills
  • Highly effective influencing &partnering skills
  • Refined communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to act as a liaison between distributor and other team members
