As a Louis Vuitton Project Manager, you will manage the Design and Construction of Louis Vuitton store projects in the Americas. The Project Manager will work closely with corporate and regional teams to ensure coordination of all aspects of the project which include the direct control and responsibility of Procurement, Administrative, and Logistic. We are looking for someone who will work closely with the VP and be responsible for hiring and managing external consultants, contractors, and direct vendors. They will handle costs, scheduling, and quality of projects throughout the entire process of planning and construction. The Project Manager will lead and organize initiatives that directly benefit the overall Store Planning department.

Profil

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver a store opening to the Regional retail team on time and on budget.
  • Supervise and coordinate all design and construction activities involved with the renovation or creation of a new store.
  • Visit construction sites and prepare reports, from setting-out to punch list completion and opening, to ensure quality of fit-out, identifying outstanding issues and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Deliver project presentations and updates to senior executives.
  • Manage all Direct Vendors orders
  • Collect as-built drawings and keep record of store openings information, finalize financial accounts closures

Decision Making
  • Prepare feasibility studies, to evaluate locations and estimate budgets and timings.
  • Collaborate with finance dept to finalize budgets and legal dept to finalize contracts.
  • Collect start-up information from corporate and local parties (Retail Managers, etc.) necessary to develop the design in accordance with company commercial requirements.
  • Organize general contractors and millwork contractors bidding, evaluate tender documents and offers and coordinate works assignment.

Agility
  • Coordinate with Paris designers to prepare location layout to match planned retail sales and organize internal review with all corporate and local teams involved.
  • Prepare Capex and Cost Report and update it regularly along the project development.
  • Organize bidding and award of all consultants and supervise their activities and outcomes.
  • Review consultants and contractors drawings to ensure consistence with projects and concept, from preliminary submission up to construction and shop-drawings.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with all Corporate Retail Departments such as IT, Asset Protection, Legal, Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Stores.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $105,000 - $120,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

This position is located at our Louis Vuitton Corporate Office in NYC and honors the opportunity for a hybrid on-site schedule.
